Vendors at the Studio this Saturday. Dahal International and Alsadu Inc. will be at Jawaahir this Saturday from 10am - 3pm for your costume, music, and gift needs.

Spring Classes: Spring Session is in week six. Remember, if you miss a class you can make it up any time during the session. You can go to any class, any day, any time. Just let the teacher know you are taking a make-up. Summer session begins June 30.

Cassandra & Jawaahir: Only 13 spots left! This workshop is limited to 30 dancers and so far we have registrations from 7 states with dancers from both coasts attending. Cassandra's yearly Weeklong Oriental Dance Intensive workshop is June 16-21. Get five days of Cassandra (technique in the mornings and two choreographies in the afternoons), helpful teaching assistants, and three performances. You'll be a better dancer by the end of the week. Gala Fundraiser: The Jawaahir Grand Bazaar is over for another year. Thanks go to all the guests whose purchases support bringing the dance and culture of the Middle East to our community and to training the next generation of dancers. Thanks to all of our donors without whose donations the gala would literally not be possible. Special thanks to Patricia Auch who flew in to lend her expertife in running the gala, to a donor who stepped up to help at the last minute, to our henna artist, Angela, who provided henna to guests from the beginning of the evening until the doors were locked, and to the dancers, alumni, and staff of Jawaahir for all of their hard work. We hope our guests had as much fun as we had in bringing it to you. Thank you.
