	Yalla! Dance and Music of the Middle East Jawaahir Dance Company has published an 8-page brochure explaining these rich and beautiful art forms. It is a helpful and fun guide for newcomers and a handy reference for enthusiasts. This brochure includes: An explanation of the dancer's role Tips on "how to watch the dance" for beginners Illustrations of traditional Middle Eastern musical instruments A page for beginners on "how to listen to the music" An introduction to musical concepts such as taqasim and maqamat A short history of the dance, and more Because this brochure has been so helpful for us in spreading the word about Middle Eastern dance and music, we're offering it to the Middle Eastern dance community at cost.
