Cassandra Teaching
& Performing in Toronto, Canada April 21-25, 2010 The Icelandic volcano causes major disruption to the Minneapolis Belly Dance Community! On Wednesday orginizers of the IBCC (3rd Annual International Bellydance Conference of Canada) that is scheduled to run Thursday through Sunday contacted Cassandra. It seems that several of the instructors from Egypt and Europe had their flights cancelled and could not make it to Canada. The call for substitute teachers went out and Cassandra rearranged her schedule to help them out and flew out Wednesday evening, not even knowing which hotel she would be staying at. The community came together and the show is going on. Good luck to all! |
