The "ageless" class, for active older adults, emphasizes the joy of dancing as well as simple corrective body work and includes a gentle pilates and yoga based warm-up.

Hauser Dance Kids Camp
All kids love to run, jump, skip, spin & roll! This five day dance camp taught by Diane Moncrieff offers creative movement based on solid dance principles. The kids will improvise and create dances in a fun, supportive atmosphere. An informal studio performance and potluck will take place at 11am on the last day of camp. Class size is limited to fifteen children.

Improvisation Workshop
This workshop includes the creative exploration of movement qualities and concepts of space, time and energy, both in groups and individually. Heiei Jasmin, a master teacher of the Holm/Hauser aesthetic, explores the physics of motion, space as a tangible partner and the expressive possibilities of dance.

Peter Strom, arguably the best Lindy Hop teacher in the US today, is now teaching at Jawaahir Studios. Peter is in demand world wide so these classes necessarily have to fit around his travel schedule. The Uptown Swing classes are on Tuesday nights, with a beginning Lindy Hop class followed by a continuing class, which is meant for everyone who has advanced out of the beginning class. Unlike other teachers, Peter posts video summaries of each class on his website so you can go back at any time and refresh your memory! These classes are the best value you will find today.

As with all great teachers, everyone will get something out of the class and you are guaranteed to be a better dancer at the end, no matter what your level.

Before you come to class you MUST check with Peter's website, UptownSwing.net, to see if the classes are currently being held.
